Poly
Carriers Industries (M) Sdn Bhd was established in 1989 as a manufacturer and
exporter of plastic bags and films. Poly Carriers Industries (M) Sdn Bhd has built
up a fine reputation for producing high quality finished products using the latest
state-of-the-art technology.
Poly Carriers Industries (M) Sdn Bhd manufactures
a wide range of products from customized shopping bags, specialty shopping bags,
garbage disposal bags to bio-degradable shopping and garbage bags.
To exercise
additional control in the plastic industry, we are consistently expanding our
manufacturing arms. We established Poly Asia Plastics Industries Sdn Bhd to produce
agricultural, construction and industrial films, heading for a different market,
as well as complementing our existing business. As mentioned before, we are also
producing flexible packaging for food based products. This diversification enables
us to cross-sell to our existing customers based on our excellent track record,
as well as providing a stronger platform for our business.
Diversification
into flexible packaging marks our first journey of exploring plastics for other
sectors while maintaining our stronghold in our core business - plastic bags and
plastic films. We seek to build our group aggressively and nurture a bigger plastic
manufacturing empire.
Having a larger manufacturing capacity gives us the
need to widen our markets. In line with our globalization efforts, two marketing
offices were established in Australia to service that market. Other marketing
office has also been established in Japan.
We have also proudly completed
the construction of the factory in Vietnam under our subsidiary, Kinsplastic Vietnam
Co., Ltd. This new RM22 million plant is manufacturing products to compliment
the increasing demand for our products from overseas customers. It also serves
as our platform to supply the domestic market with a total population in excess
of 80 million and a strong GDP growth of 7% to 8% in the recent years.
Kinsplastic
Sdn Bhd, a plastic recycling plant, provides ready supply of raw plastic material.
This will ensure that leftover materials from our plants get recycled again for
a better environment.
In 1999, our group of companies took the bold step
to be the first plastic bags manufacturer in Malaysia to produce a unique degradable
polyethylene bag through a technical system made possible by EPI Environmental
Technologies Inc, Canada. Since then, we have been proudly manufacturing environmentally
friendly degradable plastic bags. |
